Big Idea: Keeping the truths of Christ’s resurrection, the gospel’s power, and the hope of eternal glory before us will motivate us to endure all things for his cause.
1. Remember Jesus Christ as the Resurrected King [2 Tim. 2:8]
- Jesus: The Risen Savior [Rom. 8:11; Mt. 10:28]
- Christ: The Royal Son of David [2 Sam. 7:12–13; Lk. 1:31–33; Jn. 7:42; Acts 17:31; Rom. 1:3–4]

2. Remember the Unstoppable Power of the Gospel [2 Tim. 2:9]

- Mistake #1: If there are people chosen before the foundation of the world, then we don’t need to preach or suffer for them to be saved.
- Mistake #2: If we must preach and suffer to persuade lost people to believe in Jesus and be saved, then there can be no eternal election.
