1. Who is Jesus? The Christ, the Son of God
2. Why did he come? To die on the cross and save us from our sins
3. What is he like? Tough & Tender (A Lion and a Lamb)
4. How should we respond to him? Repent/believe the gospel. Take up your cross and folow him.
Application:
“And we exhort you, brothers and sisters: warn those who are idle, comfort the discouraged, help the weak, be patient with everyone” (1 Thess. 5:14).
Lost: Repent and Believe
Idle: Look to the Lion
Discouraged: Look to the Lamb
Weak: Receive help from the strong
