Introduction 

Big Idea: Jesus teaches us to be good students of the truths of the kingdom of heaven so that we may graciously share the treasures of the kingdom of heaven. 

3 Ways We Can Best Respond to Jesus’ Parables of the Kingdom: 

1. Seek These Things as Eager Learners [Mt. 13:51]

B. The Answer That Was Given [Mt. 13:51b] 

2. Study These Truths as Careful Scholars [Mt. 13:52a] 

A. A Teacher of the Law 

B. A Disciple in the Kingdom 

3. Share These Treasures as Gracious Householders [Mt. 13:52b] 

A. The Householder’s Treasure 

B. The Householder’s Task

1) Exposition of the Whole Counsel of God

2) Evangelism of the Whole Gospel to the Whole Person
